REGULATION

about holding the WORLD NO GI CHAMPIOSHIP in Jiu-Jitsu in Moscow

«ACB Jiu Jitsu World No Gi Championship».

GENERAL REGULATIONS

1. OBJECTIVES OF THE WORLD NO  GI CHAMPIONSHIP JIU-JITSU.

Tournament is held in order to develop and popularize Jiu-Jitsu in Russia, as well as:

  • Prevention of crime and drug addiction, by involving children, adolescents and youth in systematic sports activities.
  • Development and strengthening of international sport relations between the jiu-jitsu academies of Russia and the World.
  • Detection of the strongest athletes.
  • Identifying the strongest academies.
  • Formation of a healthy lifestyle, education of a sense of patriotism and spirituality.

 

2. GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT WORLD NO GI CHAMPIOSHIP

2.1 The Championship will be held in Moscow, at the Address: Leningradsky Prospect, 39, p.76, Moscow, Sports Complex “Igrovoy” CSKA

2.2 Competitions are personal, athletes with special training in jiu-jitsu are allowed to participate.

2.3 Payment for participation is not refundable.

2.4 The athlete is responsible for choosing the correct academy when registering.. If the athlete chose not the academy from the list provided he related to, then the sportsman will be removed from the ACB JJ World No Gi Championship.

2.5 The tournament will take place in two divisions:

  • junior division.
  • adult division

2.6 Beginning of the tournament: The opening of the tournament will take place on December 6 at 10:00.


 

3. SECURITY SUPPORT FOR PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS

Control over the implementation of safety requirements assigned to the competition judges and the director of the sports facility.

3.1 Competitions are held at sports facilities that meet the requirements of relevant regulatory legal acts in force on the territory of the Russian Federation and are aimed at ensuring public order and the safety of participants and spectators.

3.2 The organizers provide the participants of the WORLD NO GI CHAMPIOSHIP with medical personnel.


 

4. PROGRAM OF COMPETITIONS

4.1 Weighing

Weighing: Overweight – NOT ALLOWED.

Weighing will take place in Rash Guard and shorts (Rash Guard and shorts with logos of

other organizations are not allowed to the tournament).

Purple, black and brown belts

Attention: Weighing of latecomers will be held on December 6 and 7 from 8:00 to 9:30.

5. PARTICIPANTS OF THE ACB JJ WORLD NO GI CHAMPIONSHIP.

To participate in the competition, athletes with special training in jiu-jitsu are allowed who represent the Jiu-Jitsu sports academies.

 

Age and weight categories:

Junior division:

Age: 14-15 years (Teen)

Gray and yellow belts.
Orange and Green Belts.
Weights: 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, +70 (limit 90 kg)

Age: 16-17 years old (Juvenile)

White belts.
Blue belts.
Weights: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, +80 (limit 100kg)

Adult Division:

Age: 18+ (Adult)

White belts.
Blue belts.
Purple belts.
Brown belts.
Black belts.
Weights: 60, 65, 75, 85, 95, +95

 

Attention: There is no women’s division.


 

6. SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Athletes must have a passport (for military personnel – a military ticket or other identity card), a birth certificate, and be registered with the ACJ JJ World No Gi Championship on acbjj.com.

The representative of the team of the participants of the competition bears personal responsibility for the authenticity of the documents provided by this team and / or the participant of this team.

Without the listed documents and registration, without any exceptions, the athlete to the competition is not allowed!

Medals and other prizes are provided by the organizers of the competition.

All expenses related to travel, meals and accommodation of competitors and other representatives of teams are borne by the sending organization or by the competitor himself.


 

7. THE ORDER OF CONDUCTING THE FIGHTS AND DETERMINATION OF THE WINNER OF THE WORLD NO GI CHAMPIONSHIP ACB Jiu – Jitsu.

The tournament is held on 5 mats.

Formula of fights:

Gray and Yellow Belt: 1 round – 4 minutes.
Orange and Green Belt 1 round – 4 minutes.

 

White belts: 1 round – 5 minutes.
Blue belts: 1 round – 5 minutes.

 

Purple belts: 1 round – 6 minutes.
Brown belts: 1 round – 6 minutes.
Black Belt: 1 round – 6 minutes.


 

RULES ON TOURNAMENT

  • 2 points. Takedown
  • 2 points. Sweep
  • If person sweeped his opponent while attempting submission and lost control of submission , he/she needs to hold down his/her opponent for 3 seconds to get two points.
  • 2 points. Knee on belly
  • 3 points. Guard pass
  • 4 points. Position from above (Mount)
  • 4 points. Back control Points are awarded by the referee of the match whenever the athlete holds the position for 3 (three) seconds.
  • After the second (passive) warning, two points to the opponent and disqualification after the third warning.- If the match ends in a draw, an additional minute, the fight will continue until the first score, otherwise the referee will decide whether to win.
  • There is no Advantages
  • If both opponents have sat down simultaneously, the one who got up first and held this position for 3 seconds gets two points.
  • When transferring to the ground, points are awarded only for a purely conducted reception. For the simulation of the takedown (touching the feet, cutting, etc.), when the opponent tightens the guard, the action will not be evaluated.

 

8. AWARD WINNERS OF WORLD NO GI  CHAMPIONSHIP JIU-JITSU.

Winners in each weight category of divisions – Teen & Juvenile – are awarded – with medals.

Winners in each weight category of the division – Adult – are awarded with medals and money prizes.

9. THE RULES OF LIGHTING THE WORLD NO GI CHAMPIONSHIP ACB JIU JITSU IN MASS MEDIA.

The Absolute Championship Berkut has exclusive rights to cover the World No Gi Championships in Jiu-Jitsu by broadcasting an image, sounding a Jiu-Jitsu tournament by any means, and also by recording this broadcast and photographing the World No Gi Championships by Jiu Jitsu. The rights to Coverage of the World No Gi Championships in Jiu Jitsu can be used by third parties only on the basis of the permits of the Absolute Championship Berkut , or agreements in writing on the acquisition by third parties of these rights from the Abdolute Championship Berkut.


 

10. COST AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE WORLD NO GI  CHAMPIONSHIP ACB JIU JITSU.

Registration for the tournament is carried out on the site acbjj.com or by direct link acbjj.com/acbjjwcnogi.
